Sunline Commercial Carriers Sunline Logistical Services Job Description Sales Manager Sunline Commercial Carriers and Logistical Services are based in Harlingen Texas and provide truck transportation and logistics throughout the United States Canada and Mexico. We have an immediate opening for a Sales Manager. The ideal candidate should have a college degree and 5-years of truck transportation logistics or brokerage experience at least 2 of those years in direct customer sales. The Sales Manager will be based at our offices in Harlingen TX and will report to the Executive Vice President. Some travel will be necessary. Sunline offers a base salary commensurate with the candidate s level of experience. Along with benefits including healthcare we offer a quarterly bonus program based on individual contributions and company profitability. Duties include Analyze current lanes and trends to determine direction of sales and marketing effort. Identify prospects through telemarketing and working leads. Develop strategy and action plan to turn prospects into customers. Record all sales and marketing efforts in Sunline s contact manager. Coordinate with inside sales and customers service in developing sales strategy. Establish pricing agreements and service expectations. Communicate service expectations to inside sales and customer service. Prepare monthly report showing prospects customers and new business gained. All inquiries will be handled in strict confidence.
