I am offering an Original (not a repo) Starboard Navigation Lantern. Based on the design quality and materials used it was likely built in the 1940 s by the prolific Kilborn-Sauer Company based in Fairfield Connecticut. It measures 11 tall (with the bale down) x 7 wide x 5 deep and weighs 3 pounds. The brass has been polished and clear coated while the galvanized tin has been painted dark green and antiqued. The brass chimney top is signed KILBORN-SAUER CO. FAIRFIELD CONN. USA Also the 6 x 5 dioptric (ribbed) green class lens is signed KILBORN-SAUER CO. (across the top) and CLASS .3.NO.1012 (across the bottom) and is in near perfect condition. Included are the original oil font and electric lighting fixture which includes a power cord with in-line switch. Someone has spent a lot of time and effort refurbishing this lantern which makes it an exceptional piece of U.S. Maritime history.
