The Neuropsychology Center of Utah (NPCU) invites applicants for a Part time and or Full Time Psychologist position. Multiple positions are available at this time. Individuals accepted for this position will perform various clinical duties including implementing comprehensive treatment interventions for children and adolescents presenting with various psychological and behavioral disorders. Treatment interventions would include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy parent training behavioral modification educational consultation and social skills training. Successful candidates must have completed an APA approved doctoral program and either be fully licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Utah. Applicants with a background in Clinical School Counseling or Educational Psychology will be considered. Additional training in Autism Spectrum Disorders AD HD disruptive behavioral disorders and other developmental disorders is preferred but not required. NPCU is located in Northern Davis County Utah. NPCU provides comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluations to children adolescents and adults presenting with various brain based disorders including ADHD Oppositional Defiant Disorder Autism depression anxiety traumatic brain injury dementia PTSD and other developmental disabilities. As a specialized center we follow closely and participate in innovative mental health and behavioral studies which allows us to provide our patients with the highest quality care available. Our Methodology We work directly with our patients and their loved ones to identify all the tools and resources needed to treat their condition and improve the patient s quality of life. We have learned over the years that behavioral disorders are best treated through a proactive evidence-based method so the action plan we create for our patients following a comprehensive evaluation will help them successfully manage their disorder because it s personalized to meet their specific needs and challenges.
