As WUPPDR s Executive Director you are a dynamic community leader bringing vision to and collaborating with public officials private enterprise and community representatives. You possess thorough knowledge of community and economic development planning and aptly are a strategic leader who is able to motivate public and private sectors on challenges facing this region. You hire maintain and supervise a qualified staff oversee an annual budget and report to the WUPPDR Commission comprised of representatives appointed by the Commission s member local units of government. Your toolbox includes broad experience in grant writing and grant management knowledge of federal state and local funding opportunities exceptional communication and relationship skills a successful record working effectively with public officials and stakeholders of diverse interests and demonstrated success creating a positive and productive work place environment. MINIMUM & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree (minimum) Master s degree (desired) in economic community development urban planning public or business administration or related field Significant supervisory experience in regional planning and or other governmental organizations.
