The Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer helps guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resource functions policies and procedures for the agency according to agency policy employment laws and best practices in human resource management. Areas of responsibility include planning staffing development employee relations compensation and benefits and EEO compliance. This position works under general direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer and has support responsibility to other managers. The Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer is a member of the senior management team. Education and Experience Required Bachelor s Degree in management business or human resources. Minimum of five to seven years exempt level management experience. Valid Alaska driver license clean driving record proof of insurance continuous use of a vehicle TB vaccination health screening and the ability to pass a criminal background check Preferred Master s degree in management business or human resources.
