Lesson 1 reviews basic sewing skills & assists instructor and student to determine an appropriate first project and list of supplies on which to get started at lesson 2. Teaching approach Students are encouraged to choose sewing projects which are of interest to them rather than creating predetermined projects. Teaching one-on-one allows students to learn at their own pace and to shape their experience in a way that makes the lessons tailored to meet individual needs.
