Winston-Salem based Medical Practice is seeking a very strong Medical Finance Coordinator. Our Position will require the following Responsible for review of insurance information on existing and new patients. Review outstanding billing issues for mistakes and or corrections. Review denied claims & or appeals and patient billing. Handle all related insurance issues including review and or payment percentages. Experience and knowledge of ICD 9 & 10 diagnosis and CPT treatment codes Prefer certification in these areas Posting insurance and patients payments using medical claim billing software. Review Accounts Receivables including reviewing payment issues for under and over payment. Continuous review of Collections by overseeing payments received in posted outstanding or past due and patient billing. Ability to run reports weekly monthly quarterly and yearly for financial standing of the Clinic. Will report directly to the CFO. Must have strong computer skills advanced knowledge of Word Excel and Access. Must have 3 to 5 years of Billing experience including coordination. Must have someone that understands Medical Financial roll and Revenue Cycle Management. Position will require Monday through Friday 8 00am until 5 00pm coverage.
