SUMMARY The contract Transportation Specialist will plan transportation for orders and review processes to effectively deliver product with priorities on quality schedule and cost. . RESPONSIBILITIES Schedule deliveries with dealers according to established standard work Communicate with distribution center carries customer service and dealers on all transportation exceptions Use daily reports to execute planning of orders Use business intelligence tools to analyze shipment data and drive continuous improvement QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience required Experience in transportation manufacturing distribution purchasing or other relevant discipline preferred Experience utilizing a Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred
