We are seeking skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Registered Nurses (RN) to work within our clients homes providing direct patient care. Following a physician established plan of treatment and working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) instruct patients and their families in proper treatment and help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health. Current Opportunities - Evansville and surrounding area - Full Time and Part Time shifts available - G-tube trach and vent experience preferred but not required Our nurses function as a Caregiver Teacher and Advocate working in partnership with the family our nursing staff brings a commitment to support and assist with the family in their caregiver role. As a caregiver the nurse will provide ongoing assessment of our patient s condition response to treatments and developmental progress. As a teacher the nurse will instruct the family on procedures medications safe use of equipment and compliance with the treatments. Job Requirements 1. Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. 2. Current license of a Licensed Practical Nurse in Indiana. 3. One year experience in an acute care setting or equivalent. 4. CPR Certification 5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Current driver s license good driving record and reliable transportation.
