Job SummaryMon-Fri 10 am - 8 pm.Responsible for Monitoring & Auditing Good Manufacturing Practices product quality and safety preoperational inspections perform line clearance batch record review perform SSOP inspections product testing maintain the Approved Supplier List troubleshoot and investigate quality issues and sanitation.Education and ExperienceHigh School or Equivalent1 year experience at USDA regulated food manufacturing2 years experience GFSI certified facility preferredSkills and requirementsKnowledge of production processGood communicatiomUnderstanding of USDA regulationsKnowledge HACCP GMP s SSOP s and labeling requirementsAccurately measure and countAble to speak Engish and Spanish clearly. Bilingual a must.Able to understand production equipment and layoutsPhysical RequirementsSitting Standing Walking Climbing Ladders and StairsFull use of limbs head and neck manual dexterity use of hands and power toolsGood Eyesight (aided or unaided) color vision good hearing (aided or unaided)May be reasonably modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities.Work Environment and ConditionsEnvironment involves exposure to meat and food preparation and storage areas where the environment is extremely cold and moderately noisy.
