Moth Night at Pleasant Village Community Garden

July 24 2015 (Friday) 7 30 p.m. until 9 30 p.m. Celebrate National Moth Week at Pleasant Village Community Garden Inc. Moths are among the most diverse and successful organisms on Earth. Scientists estimate there are 150 000 to 500 000 moth species. Their colors and patterns are either dazzling or cryptic. Moths can be as small as a pinhead or as large as your hand. Most moths are nocturnal but some fly in daylight like butterflies. At 7 30 there will be a short lecture on moths until dusk when we will attract moths with that live in the garden with a special light.
