Processes requisitions for the purchase of equipment supplies services and Public Improvements. Maintains supplier files. Assists with supplier diversity initiatives. Maintains commodity information. Provides purchasing assistance to University departments. Required qualifications Bachelor degree and 2 years related experience including customer service experience. Computer skills in Microsoft Office. Math aptitude and accuracy. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Honesty integrity and high ethical standards are a must. Self starter ability to work independently. Preferred qualifications Bachelor degree and six years related experience with at least four of the six years in the purchasing field. Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) or Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB). Considerable expertise in OSU Purchasing Policies Board of Regents Rules and Regulations and State of Oklahoma Statutes. Knowledge of public procurement ethics.
