Job Title In-Hone Educator Hourly Supervisor Area Coordinator Department Independent Living Skills Adaptive Skills Training and Parenting Hours of Work To be assigned based on client s needs Salary Based on Experience Job Summary Perform a wide variety of confidential services including in-home teaching for the consumer and his her parents. Job Duties 1. Provide in-home services follow Individual Service Plan 2. Locate community resources 3. Complete all hours assigned 4. Maintain accurate records submit all reports as needed 5. Identify and report possible abuse and neglect. Skills and Educational Requirements Must have experience working with persons with Developmental Disabilities. Ability to communicate with consumers and supervisors. Have knowledge of crisis intervention techniques. Current CPR First Aid. Ability to use creativity in following the Service Plan. A minimum of two years professional work experience preferably with person with Developmental Disabilities. Must have an understanding of appropriate versus inappropriate relationships with consumers and their families. Must have good organizational skills able to multitask and have a flexible schedule (short notice of changes) Must have reliable transportation clean driving record and current auto insurance.
