Apply Now Job Description Baltimore based HealthCare Informatics and Business Intelligence Company is seeking candidates to fulfill the role of Programmer Analyst. The Programmer Analyst will use database programming to support analysis of administrative clinical financial and demographic data. The position involves development and preparation of information products to support the management staff and other user groups. The Programmer Analyst will be assisting the Lead Programmer Analyst to analyze healthcare data through the entire data life cycle from conceptualization through presentation of the data. It requires knowledge of analytical tools proficiency of data analysis methodology use of presentation software strong communication skills and a strong commitment and dedication to deliver the highest quality information. We seek a Programmer Analyst who is a self-motivated learner and a good team player. Specific Job Skills Requirements Demonstrated programming experience and expertise with SQL Server required Demonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data required Experience in arranging project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements using knowledge of computer capabilities subject matter programming language and logic. Create reporting solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) by analyzing user needs and information availability Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files including large and complex files analyzing file structure using and creating file layouts transforming raw data into finished products. Familiarity with various types and sources of health care information including financial and patient-level data files. Understand existing data structures business logic and maintain existing reports Experience with database application development desirable. Strong communication skills both written and spoken. Comfortable working independently with experience working in a team environment. Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other staff. Physical ability to use computer hardware and software required.
