Dear Student Have you always wanted to sit down and learn to play the drums Do you need to improve your technique and or brush up on your reading skills Are you in a group and have played for years but need help taking things to the next level As an experienced and passionate drummer with over three decades playing and recording music I can help you become the drummer you want to be. All students are treated as individuals with a unique set of goals. We will work together to accomplish your goals with lessons developed specifically to your needs. Some of the topics commonly covered include -Stick technique grip and control -Snare drum -Reading and drumming notation -Rudiments and Rolls -Drum Set -Rhythms and patterns (Rock Funk Jazz Blues Metal Punk etc.) -Fills Learning the art of drumming will not only provide you with the tools to perform and write music but it can also be a source of strength as it will exercise the body and mind through complex rhythms and dynamic patterns. I look forward to sharing with you the joy of becoming a modern drummer and all it has to offer. All ages welcome.
