ISO house to rent

In search of a 2 bedroom house to rent. I m willing to consider a townhouse or duplex as long as it has a private and fenced yard. I m not interested in an apartment. Please do not respond if you have an apartment available for rent. The lease at my current rental expired last month and I m on a month-to-month term. Due to the property being in poor condition and multiple issues with the owner not making timely and necessary repairs I do not wish to renew the lease. I have paid rent up to July 25 and will need to vacate by this date. I prefer to remain in the South end but will consider Old Louisville Southern Indiana and Bullitt Co. areas. The maximum rent I can comfortably afford is 700.00 per month. Must allow cats and dogs (none are considered as an aggressive breed). They are well behaved and both house and puppy pad trained. They are considered as family and I m more than willing to pay a reasonable pet deposit. A few years ago I experienced a very tough financial situation that resulted in bankruptcy and eviction. As a result of these being on my credit report I m finding it very difficult to find a decent and affordable rental home. While I understand the concern this creates I am now stable and able to responsibly pay my bills. I have been employed with the same company for almost 7 years and can provide any documentation you need as proof. I have never had a criminal record and have no problem submitting to a background check. I will gladly pay a fee to check for a background check. Given my past credit issues it s pointless and costly to pay application fees only to be rejected. If your decision is based on credit worthiness please do not respond to this ad.
