Akron based niche industry engineering consulting firm with offices in multiple states is seeking to hire a new Project Manager to support the on-going growth of the firm. Seeking individuals that are professional have strong leadership and able to make decisions. A Project Manager are the gatekeepers of the company s clients core values and projects. REQUIREMENTSBSCE BSCM or BA BS in Architecture BSME or related field. P.E. R.A CSI CDT LEED AP or other appropriate status strongly desired but not required. 5-15 years in engineering construction field and proven success at previous levels maturity good judgment leadership skills. Ultimately responsible for the quality completeness and timeliness of all projects assigned. Must be a team player and able to maintain a cohesive working environment. MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) AutoCAD (able to open files check drawings). The Project Manager will be the driving force behind the operation in each business area. DUTIESManages projects for a client or client group Client Management for retained clients Involved in and participates with Proposal Writing or develops proposals Works to manage clients within a Market Segment Maintain close coordination and communication with client(s) Will be the billing manger on projects review financials weekly and invoices the project on the prescribed schedule or at WS s discretion as applicable to the OOE or proposal. Organize kick off meetings hold regular design review meetings supervise work flow and overall technical direction of projects. Depends on staff member designated as the project drafting team leader to check drawings but checks deeply enough to ensure quality and accuracy. Lead and supervise drafting and engineering team on projects identify changes in scope and write change orders and monitors budget EVT and maintains profitability of projects. Set up project directories and maintain projects on server. Identify problems and suggest solutions to Branch Manager Sr. Project Manager and or Division Vice President.
