Totally restored MGA 1500. All records dating back to 1972. No Rust- runs perfectly-needs nothing- all gauges work. Restoration included engine rebuild new chrome wire wheels racing grill. brakes electrics electronic ignition battery cut off switch Anza exhaust. Rebuilt Stromberg twin carbs. For all you MG experts and collectors please make note that this is not being represented as an EXACT REPLICA or a 100% accurate conversion this car was built to drive and enjoy and is simply a beautiful built custom. The EX-182 can be considered one of the most important cars in the history of MGA because they are the immediate pre-production MGA racing cars built specifically to run in the 1955 Le Mans race. This was intended to be the showcase and publicity for the new MGA model. These racecars were originally intended to run in the Production class at Le Mans. When the production date slipped a little they were re-registered in the Prototype class. which allowed latitude for some additional modifications. The original parts including Top frame convertible top side curtains front and rear chrome bumpers side mirrors tail lights luggage rack front grill and 4 painted wire wheels with tires are included. This car is near perfect. 1 inches of the red piping on the drivers side seat show wear. There is one flaw in the paint that I would have to show you. It doesn t show up in any pictures I tried to take of it. Very minor. I am being picky as to not disappoint anyone.
