Location of work 9620 62 Ave NW Edmonton AB T6E 0E2 Work Setting Warehouse Mostly indoors some outdoor work required for unloading shipments Will be required to work on feet for long periods of time Fast paced work environment overtime may be required during busy seasons Transportation Travel Information Public transportation is not available own transportation required (work day starts at 6 30 or 7 AM) Skill Requirements Education Completion of high school Experience Minimum of 12 month (Fork lift license required) Languages Speak English Read English Weight Handling Up to 20 kg (40 lbs) Job Duties Shipping - Select and pack items for outgoing shipments Receiving - Unpack incoming shipments check off packing slip and put in manager s mailbox put product away on racking Assist in quarterly physical inventory check Plug in forklift to charge every Friday at the end of the day Verification of pieces being sent or received Track and organize all inventory Complete an inventory count monthly and make necessary reports Other duties may be assigned Additional Skills Required to be self-motivated good people skills are a must Ability to asses a situation and find the logical answer Detail oriented and organized with excellent follow up skills Self-starter who enjoys responsibility and accountability Decision making skills Strong communication skills by telephone and in person Operate powered mobile equipment such as forklifts.
