PART TIME EXPERIENCED FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL Salary DOE Location Walnut Creek California Minimum 5 years experience Proficient with Microsoft programs judicial council programs court forms and submission of documents to court Family law part-time paralegal is sought for an immediate opening. The person will be responsible for maintaining current attorney schedules and making reminder calls to clients for office and court meetings preparing client files answering phones photo copying collection calls on outstanding balances entering client information in the company s computer system and other tasks as needed. The paralegal will also prepare pleadings and responses court filings debt and asset lists affidavits discovery tracing and accounting searches as needed on complex cases subpoenas as needed along with follow-ups maintaining document calendar of documents due and received. Needs to be knowledgeable of local county rule of the Court for Contra Costa Solano and Alameda counties. Paralegal needs to be organized have the ability to multitask possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing and interface with clients. Needs to be able to work independently take initiative and be a team player. Ability to lift 25lbs.
