Accountant

Serve as the financial contact for the OSU Research Foundation and KOSU and assist with daily activities and reconciliations as needed per request from OSURF and KOSU departmental staff. Serve as the primary audit contact to the external auditors for the annual financial audits. Process adjusting accrual entries and prepare year-end audit work papers for OSURF and KOSU. Research current authoritative pronouncements from GASB NACUBO AICPA IRS CPB and Oklahoma State Statutes and make appropriate changes to ensure compliance. Assist the external auditing firm by providing documentation as requested and assisting with various audit requests. Assist with completing the Annual Financial Report for KOSU per CPB Financial Reporting Guidelines. Assist with various other reconciliations and duties required of the University Accounting area. Minimum qualifications Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field. Preferred qualifications Master s degree in Accounting or related field and five years of related experience.
