Manager Outreach Program

Incumbent will supervise selected staff develop recommendations on the outreach general budget and advise on other administrative and policy matters as well as program processes. The individual will manage the development planning budgeting promotion execution and evaluation of and ongoing executive and professional development programs special events and potential Spears School related programs. The person will assist with financial information and oversee p-card purchases of staff financial documents and help in tracking requisitions for programs assisting with financial reports and the annual report. The individual will engage in public relations activities and professional development and assist with organizational and management activities and administrative support for the department. Provide advice and counsel to Director and staff on Center for Executive and Professional Development (CEPD) office policy program processes and issues as identified. Develop recommendations on outreach general budget supervise selected staff and other administrative and policy matters. Manage the development planning budgeting promotion execution and evaluation of and ongoing executive and professional development programs special events and potential Spears School related programs. Assist with financial information and overseeing p-card purchases by staff and help in tracking requisitions for programs. Assist with financial reports and annual report as needed. Review financial documents and sign off as needed. Engage in public relations activities and professional development. Assist Director with the policy matters organizational and management activities and administrative support for the department. Travel to Tulsa OKC or out-of-state for program planning delivery and marketing sometimes weekly. Other Oklahoma cities for program planning and delivery is monthly and out of state country for conferences and international programs yearly. During program dates days are longer due to traveling to Oklahoma City Tulsa or other cities in-state and out-of-state. Minimum qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Business or related field. Five years of related experience. Exhibits autonomy in handling problems and have effective communication skills and ability to organize and complete programs without close supervision. Performs leadership roles in staff meetings and in external committees. Exhibits ability to work on more complicated programs and or conferences with multiple days and multiple speakers. Exhibits ability to draft proposals for on-site programs without extensive overview. Exhibits ability to draft and implement extensive marketing and promotion plans for programs and conferences. Exhibits initiatives on goals and objectives to complete measurable results organizing programs and projects without close supervision. Exhibits ability to bring new marketing ideas to the forefront in regard to assigned programs as well as to the office in general. Ability to oversee processes of implementation and organizes program specialists and students for completion of programs in a quality manner. Oversight of Administrative Associate and Data Control Analyst and their responsibilities. Ability to work with the faculty and the business community and knowledge of OSU and Spears School of Business including policies and procedures are highly desirable.
