We are seeking a qualified veterinary technician assistant that preferably has at least 2 years of experience working in a private practice hospital environment. Job description includes exam room duties laboratory duties (in-house lab) surgery prep anesthesia monitoring IV catheter placement cystocentesis digital radiography including dental radiographs dental prophylaxis client education telephone skills and computer usage. Candidate must also be able to be on their feet for most of the day and be able to lift up to fifty pounds with or without accommodation. Most importantly we are looking for someone with a positive attitude that is outgoing and friendly responsible enthusiastic about their job willing to learn and is a pleasure to work along side. A high standard of patient care is of utmost importance We can offer you flexible hours and work shifts and the opportunity to work with a great team in a low-key practice that is dedicated to providing excellent veterinary care and client service. The practice located in a beautiful quiet area boardering west Marin. Compensation is based on candidate experience. Part time and possible full time position is available.
