John Needs Your Help - Parkinson s Disease

Please help raise funds for John and his family. John has Parkinson s disease and he has fought through four heart attacks. My stepfather John retired from Dupont in 1997. Shortly after his retirement the doctors diagnosed him with Parkinson s disease. Five years ago he had an experiment done where they put two leads in the brain and it connected to a pacemaker like a device. This was to control the part of the brain that deals with this disease. The doctor that did this would never do a MRI saying that it couldn t be done. Every time they would turn the device on it make things worse for John. My mom finally found a great place in Tyler Texas where all they do is work with Parkinson s disease patients. This one particular doctor in Tyler Texas told my mom yes they could do an MRI. Once they did a MRI they discovered that the leads that were put in John s brain were put in the wrong location. So after another brain surgery the leads were taken out and ever since then he struggles with this have gone downhill. He also needing surgery on his left side of his neck his head leans to the right all the time and needs surgery to fix it. In March 2013 John died 4 times do to a massive heart attack. He was brought back to life 4 times. She is still paying medical bills for that as well. My mom pays for a sitter for john. She can pay them 200 a week. The sitter that was staying with john had moved. He has to have a full time sitter. With almost 20 years of dealing with the disease medical bills have stacked up for my mom s hospital visits one after another. With John being retired and my mom only making 13.00 an hour and the way the Insurance companies are she is accumulated over 500 000 in bills.
