Mougin took up art and photography at the age of twelve and started Mougin Studio in 1987 in downtown Indianapolis and eventually relocated to LoDo in downtown Denver Colorado. Pamela spent the past two decades gaining a reputable following for her international work in fine art and commissioned portraits including the restoration of the West Baden Angels located in Frenchlick Indiana. An exhibit now on permanent display at the Irvington Historical Society Museum in Indianapolis. Pieces ranging from classic black and white photographs to dazzling tapestries created by oil painting images upon fabric. Her bold and innovative styles gained Pamela clients such as Sheryl Crow Eddie Murphy Sugar Ray Leonard as well as Donald Trump. Pamela s techniques of making pictures and hand-painting helped to garner a name for herself among the professional athletes and celebrity families beginning in the mid-1990s with Larry Bird and former Pacers coach Larry Brown. In addition to her portraits Pamela s work extends to collection of fine art ranging from various countries and cities including Cuba Greece Africa Paris Italy as well as the Rockies of Colorado. Sadly Pamela entered eternal life on Friday May 10th 2013. She touched the lives of many and filled this earth with her amazing gift of artistic expression and personal connection.
