Electrical Foreman Long Standing Electrical Commercial Construction company in Torrance CA is looking for 2 Foremen to take the lead on a few Large projects that are underway. As a Formen you will be In charge of large and complex projects that may require a team of electricians. Supervise projects as a whole from the large-scale down to the details. Provide on-site direction and leadership for workers in order to complete jobs within specific guidelines that include quality standards time requirements and budget considerations. Customer relations Have open communication with the site coordinator and maintain a cordial professional relationship. Material Management Assure that all required materials are on site and in proper order Quality Control - Review work of team to assure a complete and correct job. Train employees and or oversee apprentice performance. Job Duties Manage and direct a team of Electricians on various jobs Evaluate employees progress Conduct on site safety meetings and walk trough s with teams Identify conflicts and resolve problems Inspect installations for quality Make sure code standards are met and ensure job safety. Maintain reports and proper forms for ordering and billing Have open communication with the main office and alert base of all incidents accidents job changes and employee concerns. Requirements Certified Electrical Technician Knowledge of the National Electrical Code. Prior supervisory experience. Knowledge of OSHPD is desired.
