POSITION Industrial Electrician Electro Mechanic ROLE DESCRIPTION Test performance of electromechanical assemblies using test instruments such as oscilloscopes electronic voltmeters or bridges. Read blueprints schematics diagrams or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly. Align fit or assemble component parts using hand or power tools fixtures templates or microscopes. Install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies using soldering equipment and hand tools. Analyze and record test results and prepare written testing documentation. Operate metalworking machines to fabricate housings jigs fittings or fixtures. Repair rework or calibrate hydraulic or pneumatic assemblies or systems to meet operational specifications or tolerances. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines motors pneumatic tools conveyor systems and production machines following diagrams sketches operations manuals manufacturer s instructions and engineering specifications troubleshooting malfunctions. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation listening for problems using precision measuring and testing instruments. Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists cranes and hand and power tools examining form and texture of parts. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts reading rulers calipers micrometers and other measuring instruments. Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques monitoring compliance. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Maintains equipment parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level anticipating needed equipment parts and supplies placing and expediting orders verifying receipt. Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information and trends. Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions irregularities and continuing needs. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 5 years relative experience MUST have Red Seal Certification (442A) Experience working within a manufacturing work environment Packaging equipment and or plastic extrusion experience an ASSET Strong knowledge of electrical hydraulic and pneumatics Proficient with reading & interpreting blueprints and schematics Excellent troubleshooting skills and problem-solving skills Able to commit to working ongoing 5-6 days a week with the flexibility to be on call if and when required Able to work in a very fast-paced work environment Hardworking reliable
