Fire Protection Publications (FPP) is seeking applications for the position of Webmaster to help in the area of web content and technology. This position is responsible for coordination maintenance and accessibility of digital content in a way that ensures the accuracy and currency of information and the consistency of brand message across online channels. This includes curating content across the organization optimizing the layout and navigation of the content and connecting and growing social community. Minimum qualifications High School diploma or GED and six years related experience with requirement to receive bachelor s degree within six years of hire OR bachelor s degree and one year of related experience. Have knowledge and experience with HTML JavaScript CSS. Hands-on experience using a Content Management System and managing social media accounts. Working knowledge of computer software such as Windows Microsoft Office Photoshop. Understanding of Web development practices the software development life cycle and development in accordance with industry best practices and standards. Must be able to work effectively both as a team member and independently. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong organization skills with emphasis on detail-oriented.
