MANAGING PHARMACIST University of Nevada School of Medicine Reno NV This position is located in Reno at the Campus Pharmacy. Campus Pharmacies are operated under the University of Nevada School of Medicine which is a statewide community-based medical school that has served Nevada for more than 40 years as its only public medical school. The full-time Managing Pharmacist is responsible for the overall daily operation of the pharmacy department including but not limited to operational collaboration with the Director of Pharmacy Operations in Las Vegas and the Chairman of Pharmacology in Reno purchasing preparation and distribution of drugs clinical collaboration and interaction with medical staff and appropriate timely submission reconciliation of drug claims and overall management of drug inventory and compliance. Requirements Bachelor s Degree in Pharmacy from a regionally accredited institution and five years experience OR Master s Degree and four years OR Doctorate Degree and two years experience as a pharmacist to include one year as a Pharmacy Manager. Must be a licensed Pharmacist (RPH) in the State of Nevada by the time of hire.
