OCT 1ST UPDATE Portions of East Baton Rouge Now Qualify for 100% Financing The Rural Development mortgage loan also referred to as RD financing is a wonderful way to get the home you have always wanted without having to put ANY money down That s right RD is a mortgage loan option that offers 100% financing with interest rates currently around 4.25%. Fees and interest rate subject to change among different lenders. The household income limits for 1-4 member family from 74 750 to 76 350. Additionally 5-8 member family has been increased to 100 800. Previously the only qualifying areas included most of West Baton Rouge Iberville Livingston and Ascension Parishes. However as of October 1 2014 areas of East Baton Rouge Parish now qualify for Rural Development loans Reference the map below for the new areas that have been added. The area outside of the red line are the qualifying areas in Baton Rouge. Remember Ascension parish Livingston Parish and parts of West Baton Rouge are included as well
