Assistant Equestrian Coach

Oklahoma State University Athletics Center is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Equestrian Coach. Responsibilities include but not limited to recruiting and the evaluation of prospective student-athletes coaching student-athletes administrative responsibilities and public relations. In and out-of-state travel to competitions recruiting and social functions. Inherent risks involved in working with horses. Dust odor and inclement weather exposure. Travel is required in and out of state to work at Athletic events and department functions as needed. Position is contingent upon available funding. Minimum qualifications Bachelor s Degree and 2 years experience. Must have proven success in collegiate equestrian and experience with training horses knowledge of NCAA rules desired and a commitment to adhering to all policies rules and regulations of Oklahoma State University the Big Twelve Conference and the NCAA. Must gain certification for off-campus recruitment. Ability to work in a highly self-motivated manner and motivate others. Must have experience in coaching English and Western intercollegiate riding teams with emphasis in Western. Must have excellent managerial abilities.
