Location Boston Pizza Bonnyville AB Responsibilities Working with your management team you will ensure our continued success at one of Boston Pizza s busiest locations Conducting affairs of the business 3 priorities health and safety of all guests operating to Boston Pizza International systems and standards and ensuring operational profitability Day to day functions of store such as banking cash control maintenance of store records purchasing and controlling of foodstuffs and supplies checking for accuracy of invoices and orders etc. Complete financial performance of restaurant Organize and supervise shifts Pursue methods to increase sales (through the use of promotions local advertising increased average sales per customer and community involvement) Responsible for implementing any operational changes including new menu items recipes or procedures that are approved by Boston Pizza International Inc. Help ensure acceptable food and labour costs inventory control and guest satisfaction Prepare and submit reports regarding sales waste food and labour usage etc. Develop and maintain staff schedules Resolve guest concerns and relay feedback Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to maintain commitment and productivity Monitor compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations Control costs (ensuring invoicing is correct) and minimize waste (ensuring all products are of correct quantity quality and are properly handled dated rotated and stored) Monitor operations and initiate corrective action Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example Ensure there is adequate management and staff coverage in all areas of restaurant at all times Provide support for areas of restaurant positions requiring assistance Train and develop managers and supervisors Estimate consumption forecast requirements and maintain inventory of foodstuffs and supplies Develop a management schedule and allocate work loads and projects for each manager Estimate consumption forecast requirements and maintain inventory Successfully promote and publicize the brand Ensure that at least one member of the management team attends the annual development conferences presented by Boston Pizza. Seek out and attend courses that are beneficial to business and personal development Perform other such related tasks as may be assigned from time to time. Requirements Must be bondable Excellent written and verbal communication skills Open availability for days evenings weekends holidays and overtime as necessary Strong leadership motivational customer service and people skills Completion of High School other formal hospitality training is preferred Minimum 3 years experience in a restaurant management position Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel Maintain professionalism cleanliness and personal hygiene at all times Ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment Attain your ProServe Certification from AGLC s website Thank you for your interest and good luck Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
