There are all sorts of companies advertising vehicle wraps some have No Experience some have Little Experience. How Can you be sure just what you are getting You will find some companies that do a little bit of everything....not much of anything and just looking for another opportunity to make a buck. I know of some businesses that don t even do the wraps themselves you usually find this with sign shops printing shops etc. who take the job and then outsource your vehicle to an independent installer this can cause issues down the road because who do you contact if you have issues Sure you have the printing company who did the prints but what about the install what if the independent installer is no longer doing wraps Then there are those that can do the wrap themselves but they are so far-and-in between that there is not a lot of experience usually not certified and not familiar enough with the various vehicles to understand the complexity of the curves the distortion of graphics and lettering. We ve all seen them- Images cut out by Door Handles Windows or license plates Images stretched out of proportion and crooked text REALLY and this does not even mention the fact about Poor Trims Bad Trimmed edges Panels not being aligned Mis-Prints Too small of a printer to do a Seamless Wrap . This just does the exact opposite of what a wrap is supposed to do Instead of branding your business in a professional manner and taking your business to the next level (as one client told me from his previous experience with one company) It makes you look cheap like you wanted a wrap but went the least expensive way you could and what does that say about YOUR WORK if you have this kind of advertising for YOUR OWN BUSINESS You Must Remember...... A vehicle Wrap is looked upon by your clients and future clients of Everything you Stand For..... All The Work you have put into building your Name Your Reputation can be viewed totally different. ---- So Choose a Vehicle Wrap Company with the Following 1) Make Sure they have the Time for You. 2) Go Take a look at their operation Meet their Staff their Team. 3) Do they have on-site Artists that can sit down with you and go over all your ideas your concerns do they know enough to understand what you are trying to do. 4) Do They do their own printing if so is it a MINIMUM 54 Printer or Larger if not remember the print can only be as large as the printer will allow what does this mean (if you have a 54 printer you must use 54 material and cannot print 54 you can only print 53 Max ) so if your Door or Hood is 56 you had better have a 63 Printer This also holds true for those companies with only a 48 Printer.... What do you do when your door panel is 50 5) Do they use a High-Performance UV rated Lamination there are a lot of companies that make materials and a lot of the Major companies that make Materials as well Avery 3M Oracal etc. These companies also make Sign Vinyl I have seen some sign companies print and install sign vinyl on cars for vehicle wraps NOT THE SAME..... NOT EVEN CLOSE. Some do this because they already have the material and they don t do a lot of wraps so guess what you may end up getting It s Important to ask questions Have them show you around DO YOUR HOMEWORK and don t be fooled into thinking you re getting something you are not just because it s a cheaper price because you will know 12-18 months down the road when your wrap is peeling off cracking or fading. 6) What about their Installation Area Are they installing outside in a Dirty Garage or Storage Shed if so and you have any issues the supplier and manufacturer of the material will not even warranty it. 7) What about their Team of Installers Do they Have Experience have they wrapped your type of vehicle and NO.... NOT ALL VEHICLES ARE THE SAME. To make sure you are going to be Totally satisfied make sure you ask questions..... Don t set yourself up for a huge disappointment..
