The School of Accounting at Oklahoma State University invites applications for a clinical faculty position beginning in Fall semester of 2015 as the School of Accounting Academic Programs Coordinator. The position will be filled at the clinical instructor assistant associate or full professor level. All applicants must have a commitment to instructional excellence and high quality service to students and colleagues. All areas of research and teaching will be considered. This Clinical Faculty position is primarily a teaching and administrative position although research or professional activities are required to maintain AACSB faculty qualification standards. Teaching duties will typically include four courses per academic year and coordination of the MS Practicum course in the summer. Administrative duties will include course demand analysis and enrollment management instructor assignments and classroom scheduling scholarship administration financial forecasting and administration and serving as the liaison with Business Student Success Center and Undergraduate Advising on course sufficiency and planning. Applicants must have 3 or more years of professional accounting experience a Master s degree with an emphasis in accounting and professional certification (e.g. CPA CMA) or have an appropriate earned doctorate and have a record of scholarship.
