Maintenance Technician II Job Description We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Lexington Apartment Homes located in Houston Texas. Our ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of residential building maintenance. All Maintenance Technicians must bring their own hand tools and have proper training in operating them. The Maintenance II will assist the Lead Maintenance Supervisor and will also need to be able to work independently. As a Maintenance II you would be responsible for the speed and quality of turnovers renovations and maintenance request response. Preventive maintenance of all systems and equipment including scheduling restoring repairing rebuilding or replacing faulty or inoperative components. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures complying with legal codes and regulations. The Maintenance Team is responsible for the common areas and the physical maintenance of the entire Community including parking lots carports grounds pool infrastructure roof lighting heating systems etc. Compensation The compensation for this position is based on an hourly rate of 14 per hour along with 2 weeks paid vacation 401K program Employer-paid Health and Life AD& D Insurance. Qualifications Previous experience on 75 units as a Maintenance Technician Minimum of 2 years experience Must own tools needed for this position Must have reliable transportation Must read and write in English legibly Required to alternate emergency on calls 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Monday-Friday 8 30 am-5 30 pm Education High School Diploma or equivalent HVAC or EPA Certification
