We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to join our Allergy Practice. You must have a strong clinical background and enjoy patient contact. Leadership ability is a must. We are seeking an individual with excellent interpersonal communication skills strong problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask under pressure. Job Duties Include Patient intake & vitals Allergy testing and pulmonary function testing Extract preparation Administer subcutaneous allergy shots Administer IM and Nebulized Medications Prescription refills Prior authorizations Patient Calls Utilize electronic EMR Accurate and timely documentation data entry and reporting JOB REQUIREMENTS Must be an LPN licensed in the state of Illinois or Certified Medical Assistant in good standing Allergy Asthma Immunology experience would be beneficial but will train the right candidate BLS Certified Requires good Computer skills Ability to work independently with good nursing judgment self-motivation and self-confidence Willingness to travel to satellite sites Full-time with benefits and Part-time positions available.
