Assistant Storage Administrator

Interstate is currently seeking an Assistant Storage Administrator to join the Accounting Department. Candidates for this role should be self-motived have excellent problem solving skills and analytical abilities. Summary The position is responsible for billing non-temp State Department commercial and National Accounts as well as preparing bills for all COD storage pack pick-ups access and deliveries. The candidate will prepare all government quarterly reports run monthly accruals audit non-temp quarterly reports and is responsible for international third party storage. Responsibilities Processes all aspects of National and Government accounts in relation to storage. Communicates concerns and questions from clients to appropriate person or parties and all Government agencies. Completes the State Department quarterly billing report by the 10th of the month following the quarter end and maintains all reports. Processes all charges and updates storage accounts monthly with automated credit card adjustments and invoices mails monthly storage statements. Maintains database with large number of credit card information numbers expiration dates etc. Creates and updates entries for the internal database of agents and vendors in accordance with company regulations for required information. Prepares correspondence of notifications of expiring contracts. Maintains all files of storage activity. Qualifications or Skill Required Minimum requirement in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint of Beginner Level (Intermediate Level or higher preferred). Minimum keyboard skill level of 40 wpm. Able to solve most problems independently. Works and communicates well with others. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Education and or Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
