Machine Operators and Laborers

We are seeking Heavy Equipment Operators and Laborers on a Federal job site near Cape Canaveral FL. Must have 10 hour OSHA certification and pass a background check. Operators Must be willing to step away from machine and work with the crews as a team Must have a clean background Must have a valid Driver License Must be willing to work in all weather conditions outside Able to work all shifts and varied work hours Must be able to operate one or all of the following Excavator Backhoe Bulldozer Wheel Loader SAFETY ORIENTED - Knowledge of the potential occupational hazards connected with operating heavy equipment and the safety standards and practices which should be applied Commitment to Teamwork Assist other operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of product General Laborer Clean up work areas Be able to safely handle power Tools Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. General labor duties that may include but not limited to sweeping shoveling and general clean-up of any area and or equipment and physical handling of materials supplies etc. General duties involving physical handling of materials supplies etc. Willing to cross-train in other positions and assists other employees as needed Ability to work standing or walking for up to 12 hours per day. Flexible to work off hours weekends holidays in a construction environment which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions. Prior construction and or laborer experience preferred but not necessary.
