Gourmet Popcorn Kiosk Manager

Heidi Pops Gourmet Popcorn is a family owned business that cares deeply about our employees and guest experience. We will launch a kiosk in a major Fort Wayne Mall in May of this year. We are taking applications for a kiosk manager position. A Heidi Pops manager regulates day-to-day store or kiosk operations. Specific duties you perform may vary slightly by location. Overall you perform operations administrative labor management and customer care duties. Operations duties include opening operating and closing the store kiosk while meeting all service and quality standards. The critical four operational areas of responsibility include customer engagement product quality cleanliness health standards and cash management. You must become an expert and gain our trust in your ability to executing all four of these critical areas as detailed below. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining appropriate accurate inventory levels driving store kiosk sales ensuring accurate POS transactions and making bank deposits. Labor management consist of creating work schedules ensuring proper coverage meeting health & safety guidelines providing training giving timely performance feedback and motivating associates. You must proactively monitor customer satisfaction and rapidly resolve customer issues. You will greet interact with and personally serve customers while representing the Heidi Pops culture. Qualities required of a Heidi Pops Manager Maturity Ownership -- Ability to display ownership of the store kiosk vs. just a job mentality Caring actively demonstrate concern and care for each and every customer and associate A warm heart ability to interact with customers and associates in a way that makes them feel good about the conversation Determined and fearless when maintaining the Critical Four and other standards not swayed under any situation Unquestionable ethics and fairness Self-starter the ability to see what needs to be done and do it vs. waiting for direction Fairness ability to interact fairly and justly with associates and customers Focus does not let outside influences affect performance Trust ability to quickly gain our trust through your actions and words Food Safety food manager certified (company will pay for training) and ensure all food safety standards are followed Communication ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally Critical Four Skill Sets Customer engagement Customer service engagement is one of the most critical aspects of working at Heidi Pops. It ensures our guests are satisfied happy and become repeat customers. Your guest service skills will define our customers perception and branding of Heidi Pops. Product quality skill set The quality of our product cannot be compromised under any circumstance. You must become an expert in preparing and cooking all the products we sell in your store kiosk. If in doubt of product quality do not serve it to our customers. Cleanliness Health Standards The cleanliness of your store kiosk has an immediate and lasting impression on our customers. You must go above and beyond health standards by ensuring your store kiosk is always kept clean and organized from our customers point of view. Cash Management Cash management includes your responsibility to execute 100% accurate POS transactions and ensure a balanced cash drawer at all times. Skills required of all associates engage each guest in a professional pleasant manner display excellent manners and respect ask the right questions to engage guests and determine their needs maintain a positive attitude when stressed actively listen to your guest show genuine interest maintain appropriate eye-to-eye contact and posture adapt your approach to different guests types respond to each guest with courteous prompt and friendly service after transaction is done thank our guests resolve complaints helpfully and patiently exercise good judgment clean clean clean -- maintain a consistent standard be concerned with your fellow associate and set them up for success have in-depth knowledge of our product or service be helpful even if it is not going to result in a sale do what you say you will do -- always view a customer s complaint as an opportunity to gain the customer s respect maintain attention to detail and accuracy always operate with honesty and integrity balance your cash drawer multi-task in an occasionally hectic environment maintain a clean and safe working environment follow all processes and SOPs follow specific recipes accurately and consistently follow all food safety standards In addition to all the above the Manager must Display servant-leadership we treat our associates the way we want them to treat our guests Perform all duties of the associate level Ensure all associates maintain a consistently clean and safe work environment Be able to effectively train and monitor associates Establish and maintain performance standards and clear expectations Convey and ensure compliance with health code company policies and guidelines Express strong time management and organizational skills Have excellent organizational and managerial skills Ensure a fair schedule React rapidly to scheduling issues to ensure 100% coverage Ensure excellent quality of product and service Ensure store kiosk is open and read for business during all open hours Help manage profitability and margins through improving sales and reducing costs of goods sold Ensure conformance with all applicable local state and federal laws for managing store operations Lead by example to ensure an excellent customer experience Oversee and develop skills of every associate Provide timely feedback via rapid coaching and on the spot corrective actions to enhance our associates performance Analyze and develop talent in team Help identify qualified friendly and enthusiastic potential associates Express excellence through attention to the Critical Four your appearance your actions visual merchandising and loss prevention Ensure all your administrative paperwork and reports are completed in an accurate and efficient manner Perform other duties as assigned Education and Experience high school diploma general education degree or equivalent desired knowledge of customer service principles and practices knowledge of relevant computer applications ability to use an electronic point of sale system Working Conditions Frequent walking and standing in a kiosk envirionment Frequent bending stooping and kneeling Frequent handling of material and equipment such as hand-held scanner boxes bags product containers etc. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds Occasional standing on a step stool Providing own transportation to make bank deposits and occasionally to attend management meetings and to other Heidi Pops locations Fast-paced environment moderate noise level. Occasionally exposed to slippery floor surfaces. Frequent exposure to cleaning solutions Exposure to hot cooking equipment with moving mechanical parts.
