Degree Audit Specialist

Analyze and interpret degree requirements and scribe requirements for each major and program into the University degree audit system. Test each component and analyze results to ensure accuracy and troubleshoot implementation issues. Maintain the degree audit system by analyzing changes to academic requirements course degree attributes course number changes equivalent courses and other course and or program updates annually making appropriate updates to the system. Minimum qualifications Bachelor s degree in MIS Computer Science or other related field. Three years experience in higher education. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong computer skills including extensive experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel. Accurate typing data entry skills and demonstrated ability to work with attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive records. Ability to communicate diplomatically clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to exchange information give receive instructions and respond to inquiries appropriately.
