FT Compliance Specialist

Compliance Specialist Basic Responsibilities Compliance Specialist is responsible for tracking requesting and processing the annual recertifications of the company s portfolio in accordance with Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code. They work with the property management supervisor and compliance manager to assist in processing applications help with County Housing programs investor reports property rent increases training materials data entry and any clerical assistance as needed. They participate in Grand Openings and Open Houses as needed. Position Reports to Director of Property Management Organizational Mission Provide quality accommodation in a sound pleasing environment. Respect each resident s right to independence and self-respect. Provide a variety of social activities in a friendly clean environment. Provide knowledgeable caring on-site resident staff. Main Duties and Responsibilities Tracking of the annual recertification applications. Insure the annual recertifications of each resident meets compliance standards. Insure that each resident is certified and completed within a twelve month period as required in Section 42 guidelines. Requesting of the recertification applications from on site staff. Processing of the recertification applications. Data Entry of completed recertifications. Process recertifications back to the active property drawers. Memo all new applicant and recertification copies to the investors. Assist property management supervisor. Assist compliance manager. Assist with processing of new tenant applications as needed data entry of completed new tenant files process new tenant files into the active property files and any clerical assistance as needed. Other Duties as assigned.
