Shan Hair is currently accepting resumes for a Salon Assistant Stylist (Part time to full time). Seeking a very motivated trendy creative optimistic passionate friendly and dedicated assistant stylist who loves making people feel great. You must demonstrate a positive attitude and professional image. This is an opportunity to grow and learn in an established salon and is meant for a stylist who is beginning to grow a clientele. Until your client base grows we expect you to take on the role of assistant to the other stylists.Responsibilities Following established procedures to accurately perform cleansing styling and conditioning treatments. Adhering to established standards of safety and cleanliness keeping equipment properly sanitized and hair and treatment areas clean and presentable at all times. Answering calls and emails Processing payments Rebooking for future appointments Responding to client inquires for all stylists.Cleaning and maintaining salon appearance Greeting and attending to waiting clients (e.g. Offer clients beverages hanging up coats) Participating in training programs Complying with all state licensing and health requirements.Requirements Must be a licensed cosmetologist or in training Team player with strong work ethic Excellent interpersonal communication (English speaking) and customer service skills Strong organizational skills Physical mobility able to bend lift and stand on feet for a prolonged period of time.Flexible reliable and available to work various schedules including weekends and holidays.Positive and friendly attitude always To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty at a satisfactory level.
