JOB DESCRIPTION The Warehouse Associate assists in the overall operation and upkeep of the warehouse and inventory. This position is responsible for picking and packing orders according to customer requirements by matching correct merchandise to proper invoices. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Pull and fill orders Walk and stand for long periods of time Prepare merchandise for shipment Maintain quality service by following organizational standards Stock merchandise Data entry as needed Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times Report to work at the scheduled time neatly groomed SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE Experience working in a fast-paced environment Must be able to pay attention to details Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time and walking on a consistent basis Great organization skills Ability to speak read and write the English language Personable enthusiastic ambitious and team-oriented Dependable and flexible Proven superior customer service and problem solving skills The ability to adjust and refocus in a dynamic and ever-changing environment Must be able to lift 20-50 lbs. on a consistent basis PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Picking and packing experience a plus. Basic computer skills (e.g. personal computers printers email) Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures and protocol. Prior experience in a warehouse environment.
