Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors shampooing rugs washing walls and glass and removing rubbish. Position Responsibilities Service clean and supply restrooms. Clean building by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Gather and empty trash. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Strip seal finish and polish floors. Steam clean or shampoo carpets. Clean windows glass partitions or mirrors. Deliver towels cribs rollaways amenities etc. to guest rooms. Monitor building security and safety. Notify managers regarding repairs to building or operating system. Move heavy furniture equipment or supplies. Spray insecticides or fumigants. Clean and restore building interiors damaged by water. Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance. Set-up arrange or remove decorations tables chairs or ladders. Follow safe work practices and established safety procedures including the use of personal protective equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Position requirements High School degree diploma preferred or equivalent. One to five years or more experience in hospitality field or property management. Detail oriented. Strong interpersonal customer service skills.
