Do you lead by example build relationships and earn the trust and respect of others Legacy is seeking an Executive Director for our Historic Retirement Community in Grand Rapids which offers assisted living to over 180 residents. This position is responsible for the overall leadership and administration including hiring managing and training a high quality team communication family services resident well-being quality assurance financial management and regulatory compliance. As the Public Relations leader for Residents Families and Visitors you must have compassion and patience with the one goal of creating an experience second to none Requirements A passion for working with seniors. Previous management experience including hiring coaching performance management and daily operations supervising 10 or more employees. Hospitality skills and previous sales experience preferred. Knowledge of special sensitivity to the needs of aging adults and their families is preferred. Ability to identify and build relationships within the local area that drives business into the community. HUD Section 8 knowledge Fair Housing and budget finance experience preferred. Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in computer skills Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new applications. Excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations. Real Estate License required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment. Must be able to work extended and varied hours.
