Do you have Borderline Personality Disorder

Researchers at the University of Toronto Scarborough and the Centre for Addition and Mental Health are seeking individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and their family members to participate in a research study. Eligible participants must be 18 55 years old (16 65 for family members) English speaking have no history of severe neurological or physical illness. Each participant will be compensated up to 100 for their participation. The purpose of this research study is to understand biological markers or intermediate phenotypes of borderline personality disorder in patients with the illness and their family members who may or may not have any mental illness. Procedures can be completed in one day and include psychiatric interviews neuropsychological testing functional brain imaging and providing a saliva sample for genetic material.
