Telecom Field Technicians (NY Tri-State Area

UrbanCity is looking for talented technicians to join the UrbanCity team. We need techs qualified in one or more of the following area basic telephony and structured cabling (cat5e cat6 and coax). UCT field technicians perform such tasks as identification installation wiring and troubleshooting of voice and data cabling. Field technicians are required to travel in excess 50 miles from home travel compensation is provided. Field technicians are required to own or posses the following tools and items Test phone (butte set) punch down tool (66 and 110) tone generator and tester RJ11 and RJ45 crimper digital camera mobile phone with SMS Cat5 cable tester standard hand tools (screwdriver drill bits etc.) and wire stripping tools. Candidate Requirements Technicians are required to posses a valid driver s license proof of insurance and RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION. Must pass a background check. Must be able to effectively use hand held tools. Must have good written and oral communication skills. Electrical Knowledge & Pipe Bending is a plus. UrbanCity Telecommunications.
