CLINICAL DIRECTOR New ambulatory surgery center seeking a full time RN Clinical Director in Vancouver WA. Qualifications include current state RN license ACLS and BCLS. Operating room and GI experience required. Ambulatory surgery experience preferred. Leadership and Joint Commission survey experience a plus. POSITION SUMMARY Supervises daily clinical operations of the Surgery Center and manages the clinical and clerical staff in accordance with established Federal State and accreditation regulations and guidelines as well as established Surgery Center policies and procedures. Oversees patient care activities in preoperative postoperative and intraoperative. Purchasing of required supplies controlled drugs and equipment. Responsible for staff development orientation and staff discipline and appraisals. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education Experience Licenses Certificates Eligibility Current State RN license and BCLS required. ACLS PALS and BSN preferred. Master of Science desirable. Minimum five (5) years of ambulatory surgery clinical experience as a registered nurse with two (2) years of administrative management experience preferred. Knowledge Working knowledge and experience in ambulatory surgery environment preferably operating room preferred including direct patient care. Ability to adhere to work schedule and manage time appropriately. Ability to effectively manage the activities and personnel in the surgery center. Knowledge of current nursing matters relating to healthcare management including QAPI. Ability to utilize resources in an organized and effective manner.
