Our client is a well established Major Canadian Bank looking for Bilingual Jr. Collections Administrative Assistant (with Banking Industry Exp) Location Meadowvale ONDuration 12 Months Contract position with strong possibility of extension.Operation Hours 12pm - 8pm or 9am - 5pm. Candidate must be flexible and able to work both shifts. This is an investigative position (like an internal PI). Will be using internal systems (training provided) to review discrepancies. There are targets goals to be met daily. Bilingual (French English) is a definite assetJob Duties and Responsibilities Receive skip-tracing assignments from Collectors to perform skip-tracing duties by contacting and extracting information from external and or internal sources. Perform and report credit bureau activities Order property searches input search information and pay invoices Effectively use bank systems to obtain relevant information (Pathway CCAPS NCCS and MDIF) and identify other products. Training will be provided. Acquires all necessary information that aids in the collection effort Document all activity details in appropriate system to reflect action taken Liaise and act as a conduit to external business partners Communicate with Branches Hubs to investigate and resolve loan set-up issues and disputes Document call activity details in appropriate system to reflect action taken Demonstrate aptitude to master complete call resolution process Demonstrate aptitude to master conflict management & resolution strategies to effectively manage control of situations Participate in team meetings interacting and collaborating with team members Assess and mitigate risk by referring accounts for further actionSkills Ability to Work Independently Strong Communication Skills Bilingual- French English a strong asset Strong Customer Service Skills Detail oriented Multi-tasking Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills Team Player Proficient with MS Excel PowerPoint and Word Good critical thinking and analytical skills.Education Experience High School Diploma. Entry level to 2 years office experience.
