Agriculturist

Will be responsible for carrying out procedures that are dictated for the production of a genetically pure seed product. Provides direction and supervision to student employees and others involved in the roguing harvesting cleaning bagging and distribution of breeder and foundation seed increases. Minimum qualifications Bachelor degree in Agriculture or related. Must be able to obtain a valid CDL license before or shortly after being hired. Certified applicators license (seed treatment fumigation and demonstration & research) acquired within 6 months of hire. Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds and work in dusty dirty conditions. Computer skills equipment usage skills some supervisory skills. Requires good oral and written communication skills.
